Job Summary
Maintain and support the Los Angeles Convention Center's electrical systems, including 120–480-volt power distribution, motor control, lighting, and energy conservation. Perform electrical repair, preventative maintenance, and circuit installation for offices, work areas, and mechanical equipment rooms. Respond to 12kv outages by diagnosing issues and restoring power, while assisting food services with event electrical set-up. Provide own hand tools and may lend support to other crafts as needed. This journeyman-level role requires on-site coverage for events from start to finish, with exposure to outside weather, confined spaces, and moderate to high noise levels during operations.
