Job Summary
Design and configure LabVIEW applications using LVOOP, Actor Framework, and design patterns like DQMH for Test Systems and R&D automation. Collaborate with customers to define functional requirements, gather system needs, and commission systems at customer sites. Develop complex applications, design SQL scripts for databases, and create electrical control panels and instrument wiring diagrams. Train and mentor new engineers while interacting with mechanical designers. Requires five years of LabVIEW architecture experience and a Certified LabVIEW Architect credential. Base salary ranges from $100,000 to $130,000 with performance bonuses, travel incentives, and a full benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) match.
Required Qualifications
- At least 5 years of designing and architecting LabVIEW applications using Actor Framework or equivalent design pattern
- Certified LabVIEW Architect or equivalent professional experience
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with NI Real-Time programming for embedded targets (cRIO, PXIe)
- Ability to interact with mechanical designers and provide suggestions
- Experience with Robotics and Vision Inspection Systems
