Job Summary
Assist arborists with tree pruning, trimming, removal, and debris clearing while operating chainsaws, stump grinders, and chippers. Keep worksites clean by removing fallen branches, leaves, and trunks, and ensure pathways remain clear for safe equipment movement. Load and unload trucks with logs and brush, set up tools for arborists, and help assess tree health through measurements and observations. Actively support a positive team environment, report safety hazards, and comply with all applicable laws and company policies. Work outdoors in various weather conditions with regular Monday-to-Friday shifts.
Required Qualifications
- CSA Certified Work Boots
- Must be able to perform physically demanding manual labor in various weather conditions
- Must be able to work around excessive noise from machines, chainsaws, woodchipper and must wear proper personal protective equipment
- Must comply with applicable federal, provincial, and municipal laws, rules, and regulations
- Must maintain knowledge of and follow all company policies and procedures
- Must maintain regular and punctual attendance at work and meetings
- Must be able to work outside in various weather conditions
