Job Summary
As a Labourer at Safeguard, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including working in diverse weather conditions, performing physical labor, and managing materials and tools. You should demonstrate problem-solving skills, maintain a focus on safety procedures, and complete required paperwork. The role requires physical fitness for demanding tasks, effective communication abilities, and teamwork. A clean driver’s license and the flexibility to work varied hours, including nights and weekends, are essential.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of labour experience, preferred experience in event setup/traffic control
- Must be reliable and responsible
- Strong communication skills; ability to work in a team and independently
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 50lbs regularly
- Valid Ontario driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Health & Safety conscious
Additional Requirements
- Must be available to workdays, nights and weekends as required
- Must be comfortable working alongside traffic & busy roadways
