Job Summary
Perform installations and commissioning of small to large scale pumping systems, conduct general workshop duties to prepare equipment for site works, and assist with maintenance and repairs of plant and equipment. Mobilise and demobilise pumping equipment, perform function testing of systems, and interpret system drawings to pick materials for installations. Manage OH&S and environmental hazards in the workplace and onsite, ensuring timely completion for all inspection, testing and safety paperwork. Collaborate with workshop trades to achieve key business objectives while delivering exceptional customer service. This field-based role involves rural site activities and workshop preparation for the water, waste-water and construction ground water industries.
Required Qualifications
- Current Driver's Licence
- General Construction Induction ticket (or willing to obtain)
- Confined Space Entry (or willing to obtain)
- Patient, flexible and adaptable to changing and challenging circumstances with great problem-solving skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work with flexibility and initiative with limited direction or supervision
- Excellent time management and an ability to juggle multiple competing priorities
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in a construction industry with ground dewatering, pipelaying or sewer pump station operations
- Experience in Rental, Construction or Heavy industries
- HR Licence
- Poly Welding Ticket
- Working from Heights Ticket
- Dogging/Rigging Licence
- Relevant Trade Certificate would advantageous (i.e. Plumbing)
