Job Summary
Remove and inspect used tires from vehicles in the yard using hand tools or machinery. Safely remove tires from rims, then inspect, sort, and separate rims for resale or scrap recycling. Stack, organize, and store rims and tires in designated areas while assisting with yard cleanup to remove debris, scrap, and unusable parts. This afternoon shift role runs Monday to Friday from 3pm to 11pm in Ottawa, ON. You will need physical stamina to lift 50lbs and experience in a general labour or similar role.
Required Qualifications
- previous experience in a general labour or similar role
- physical stamina and are able to lift 50lbs
- able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- reliable and willing to learn different areas of the business
- comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
