Job Summary
Dismantle and depollute vehicles safely using hand and power tools, preparing them for resale or display in the yard. Remove wheels, rims, and tires; clean, test, and sort batteries for resale; and organize salvaged parts for inventory. Maintain a clean and organized yard and work environment while working outdoors in various weather conditions. This role requires physical stamina to lift 50lbs and proficiency with tools, with a schedule from 12 pm to 8 pm. Join a team at Kenny U-Pull's Barrie location, where you will assist in the daily operations of our auto recycling process.
Required Qualifications
- previous experience in a general labour or similar role
- physical stamina and are able to lift 50lbs
- able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- proficient in using hand tools and power tools
- reliable and willing to learn different areas of the business
- comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
