Job Summary
Labourer role at Aecon Construction Solutions Inc. (ACSI) seeking experienced candidates to support industrial site projects. Key duties include preparing and cleaning up work sites, moving materials and equipment, performing demolition, excavation, and compaction, handling and distributing materials, placing and protecting cast-in-place concrete or masonry structures, and assembling/dismantling scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, and barricades. Must be able to lift up to 25 kg, work in various weather conditions, and follow stringent safety procedures. Requires WHMIS2015 training, fall protection/working at heights certification, English fluency, and successful pre-employment screening. Required Qualifications
- WHMIS2015
- Fall Protection/working at heights – In Class
- Experience as a Labourer in an industrial construction environment
- Ability to lift and work with materials weighing up to 25kg
- Fluent in English (written and verbal)
- Pre-employment Drug & Alcohol screen and/or criminal record check
- Commitment to safety procedures and policies
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
