Job Summary
Manage client matters and all phases of Labour Law Alternative Dispute Resolution cases from investigation through arbitration, including conciliation, settlement, and mediation. Provide Labour Law advice, analyze risk and probable dispute outcomes, and assist clients with preparation for various disputes. Draft correspondence to clients, the CCMA/Council, and Union Officials; gather, compile, and analyze evidence while preparing witness testimonies. Represent clients at conciliation, arbitration, and pre-arbitration proceedings, ensuring matter files meet required standards and maintaining a high success ratio in assigned disputes. Update case status on the client management system and contribute to business growth and client retention. Requires admission as an Attorney or relevant experience, two years in ADR, and a valid driver's license. Salary ranges from R22,950 to R26,000 p/m with performance coaching and mentorship.
Required Qualifications
- LLB or B-Degree in IR/Law/HR/Industrial psychology or related field
- Valid driver's license
- Own reliable vehicle
- 2 years experience in Alternative Dispute Resolution
- Eagerness to learn the ins and outs of Labour Law
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Must be able to effectively function within a pressurized and fast-paced environment
