Job Summary
Inpatient OB/GYN hospitalist position at UP Health System-Marquette in Marquette, MI, working as a Laborist with 10–24-hour shifts per month, 10 on-site hours, rounding on consults, deliveries, and admissions, and an on-call schedule (1:4) for ER admits and transfers. Join a seasoned OB department with a Level IIIA NICU, 24/7 pediatric cardiology coverage, and a teaching affiliation with Michigan State University; collaborate with an experienced nursing team and mobile transport, delivering approximately 50 deliveries per month. Compensation may include a competitive base salary, sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, and comprehensive benefits; CME allowance and malpractice coverage are provided. Equal opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- Inpatient OB/GYN experience
- Hospital-employed position
- Rounding covers consults, deliveries, admissions
- Call 1:4 with addition of Laborist
- On-call physician responsible for ER admits and transfers
- Level IIIA NICU with Neonatologists and APPs
- Teaching affiliation with Michigan State University
- Residents and medical students on site
- US medical license or eligible
- CME allowance and days
- Malpractice coverage
