Job Summary
The Laborer I is an entry-level position responsible for performing various physical tasks to support concrete construction operations. Key responsibilities include general construction labor such as site clean-up and material handling, operating power tools and motorized equipment, assisting in concrete pouring, and following safety protocols in diverse weather conditions. Candidates must frequently lift up to 50 pounds, demonstrate good physical balance and strength, and have experience using hand tools. A minimum of 12 months of relevant experience and a 30 Hour OSHA Card are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling up to 50 pounds of material and up to 90 pounds of material with assistance, if requested
- Frequently walking, stooping, kneeling, reaching and climbing
- Frequent use of hand tools such as power tools, circular saws, hammers, nails, and bolts
Desired Qualifications
- Preference given to candidates with a minimum of 12 months of formwork / concrete construction labor work experience
- 30 Hour OSHA Card desired
