Job Summary
The Laborer I is an entry-level position responsible for various physical tasks in concrete construction operations, including assisting skilled tradespeople, preparing and cleaning job sites, handling materials, and operating basic tools and equipment. Key responsibilities include general labor tasks like jobsite cleanup, material handling, and operating motorized equipment; while maintaining physical stamina for frequent lifting and using hand tools. A preference for candidates with at least 12 months of concrete construction experience and a 30 Hour OSHA Card is noted.
Required Qualifications
- Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling up to 50 pounds of material
- Frequently walking, stooping, kneeling, reaching and climbing
- Frequent use of hand tools such as power tools, circular saws, hammers, nails, and bolts
Desired Qualifications
- 30 Hour OSHA Card desired
- Preference given to candidates with a minimum of 12 months of formwork / concrete construction labor work experience
