Job Summary
The Laborer I is an entry-level position responsible for performing a variety of physical tasks to support concrete construction operations, such as assisting skilled tradespeople, preparing job sites, handling materials, and operating basic tools. Duties include general construction labor, jobsite clean-up, lifting materials, assisting in pouring vertical concrete, and installing reshores. Candidates should have experience in lifting heavy materials and using hand tools, with preference for those having prior concrete construction labor experience. Must be able to work in various weather conditions and adhere to safety practices.
Required Qualifications
- Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling up to 50 pounds of material
- Frequent use of hand tools such as power tools
- Ability to operate motorized equipment including power tools, saws, hammers, nails, and bolts
- Good balance and physical strength
- Frequent walking, stooping, kneeling, reaching and climbing
- Authorized to work in the United States
Desired Qualifications
- 30 Hour OSHA Card desired
- Minimum of 12 months of formwork/concrete construction labor work experience
