Job Summary
The Laborer I is an entry-level role focused on performing physical tasks to support concrete construction operations. Key responsibilities include assisting skilled tradespeople, preparing job sites, handling materials, and operating basic tools and equipment. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to lift and carry heavy materials, possess good balance and physical strength, and have experience with hand tools, including power tools. Preference will be given to those with relevant construction labor experience.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and 90 pounds with assistance
- Good balance and physical strength
- Frequent walking, stooping, kneeling, reaching, and climbing
- Frequent use of power tools, circular saws, hammers, nails, and bolts
Desired Qualifications
- 12 months of formwork / concrete construction labor work experience
- 30 Hour OSHA Card
Additional Requirements
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States
- Position is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship
- Applicants selected will be required to join the appropriate union
