Job Summary
Laborer responsibilities on heavy highway, road and bridge construction projects. Assist with site preparation, cleanup, material handling, traffic control, and general construction activities as directed by the supervisor. Tasks include loading/unloading materials, flagging and directing traffic near work zones, setting up and maintaining traffic control devices, operating hand and power tools, cleaning and preparing construction sites, and working safely in all weather conditions. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and follow all safety guidelines; teamwork and reliability are emphasized.
