Job Summary
Conduct habitat restoration work in San Diego County and surrounding regions, performing site preparation, earthwork, and temporary irrigation installation. Plant container plants, distribute seed, and manage weed control while identifying invasive species. Lift 25 pounds over 100 feet and operate with valid access credentials for military installations. Maintain a current driver's license and ensure legal work authorization in the United States. No prior felony convictions required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to obtain access credentials to military installations (no disqualifying record)
- Must be legally able to work in the United States
- No prior felony convictions
- Ability to recognize common non-native invasive plant species (weeds) in a restoration setting, and distinguish them from native plants
- Ability to lift 25 pounds and carry it for a distance of 100 feet
- Current valid driver's license
