Job Summary
Common Laborer performs physical labor on construction jobsites across commercial, industrial, or heavy civil projects; may operate hand and/or power tools; may prepare site and assist with other duties. Responsibilities include operating tools, cleaning/prepping sites (erecting scaffolding, debris disposal, trench digging), loading/unloading supplies. 1 year of verifiable experience preferred; capable of lifting up to 50 lbs; able to work in adverse weather; must follow safety policies; effective communication with crew; strong work ethic; good manual dexterity; able to stand, bend, kneel or sit for long periods; pre-employment drug screening required. The role includes opportunities to work across the U.S. within Archer Western Construction’s divisions and training programs.
Required Qualifications
- 1 Years Verifiable Experience Preferred
- Requires ability to climb and maintain balance on scaffold/ladder
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- May be required to work in adverse weather conditions
- Requires the ability to comply with all safety policies and procedures
- Communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors to ensure projects are completed properly
- Possess a strong work ethic and desire to learn
- Requires good manual dexterity
- May be standing, bending, kneeling or sitting for long periods
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening
