Job Summary
Laborer on our Telecom Underground team performs loading, delivery, digging, and operation of construction equipment to install and maintain underground telecommunications cabling. Responsibilities include operating construction equipment, maintaining clean work areas, communicating with team members, completing daily production reports, and assisting with site restoration in all weather conditions. Requires being 18 or older and authorized to work in the United States; preferred experience with hand tools and utility trucks. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and hands-on training within an equal-opportunity environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent or relevant work experience
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions
- Experience safely operating hand tools and utility trucks is preferred
- Able to lift up to 55 pounds
- Team-oriented with clear communication and safety focus
