Job Summary
Laborer Telecom Aerial II performs field support for the Aerial Telecom Crew, providing tools, parts, and materials to the crew, moving and positioning equipment under direction, ensuring safety and DOT-compliant traffic control, stocking and maintaining vehicles and equipment, and assisting with maintenance and basic repairs. Requires ability to work in all weather, travel as needed, overtime/on-call duties, and readiness to become a certified pole climber; emphasizes safety, teamwork, clear communication, and adherence to local DOT guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent or relevant work experience
- Valid state driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Willingness to become a certified pole climber
- 0-3 years of labor experience, preferably in telecommunications
- Authorization to work in the United States
