Job Summary
Locate and expose septic system components, inspect systems, and call in locates for underground repairs. Educate customers on septic system function, gather and document site information, and relay details to the office. Assist management with shop improvement and maintenance tasks while keeping the jobsite and service vehicles clean. Complete invoices, bill customers, restock truck parts, and update operators on time on site. Maintain inventory levels by tracking materials on hand. Work outside in all weather conditions, stay at the work site until completion including evening hours, and work overtime as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Valid drivers' license and insurable through company insurance carrier
- Must pass drug and background screening
- Must be physically capable of working with hand tools such as rakes, shovels, digging bars etc
- Knowledge and ability to work with tools used on the job in a safe manner
- Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
- Ability to work overtime as needed (this is a frequent occurrence)
- Ready and eager to learn something new every day
- "Hands on" learning style
