Job Summary
Load, unload, or identify building materials, machinery, or tools; install or remove signage, railings, or hardware. Dig ditches, backfill excavations, or compact earth using picks, shovels, pneumatic tampers, or rakes. Operate hand or power tools such as air hammers, earth tampers, cement mixers, or surveying equipment. If certified, operate heavy equipment like backhoes or bobcats. Assist in erecting or dismantling scaffolding, shoring, braces, traffic barricades, or ramps. Clean or prepare construction sites to eliminate hazards. Requires 6 months of commercial or industrial construction laborer experience and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Work performed primarily outdoors in all weather conditions with travel between sites.
Required Qualifications
- 6 months experience working as a commercial or industrial construction laborer
- Experience operating required hand and power tools
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
