Job Summary
Package, seal, and convey sugar packages ranging from 1 to 2000 pounds at various stations in the Packaging Department. Perform repetitive hand, arm, and body movements including check weighing, cutting damaged packages, sorting materials, and lifting up to 50 pounds for hand palletizing. Operate industrial hand trucks to transport palletized materials while standing and walking 6-8+ hours daily. Wear required PPE including safety glasses, steel-toe shoes, hearing protection, and hard hats due to noisy conditions and exposure to sugar dust, cleaning soaps, and moving equipment. Work various shifts including weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
Required Qualifications
