Job Summary
Laborer at Ledcor Technical Services performing manual labor on telecommunications and construction projects. Responsibilities include shovel/broom work, hand digging, material handling, site clean-up, vehicle maintenance checks, trenching, concrete work, fence building, mini-excavator work, reading underground utility locates, and installing telecom fixtures and cables. Requires ability to work outdoors in all weather, lift up to 50 pounds, and meet physical demands; travel across West Virginia is required. Preferred experience in construction/telecommunications, knowledge of safety practices, and a clean driving record. Must pass background checks and pre-employment drug/alcohol screenings; must have a valid driver’s license. Ledcor emphasizes safety, inclusion, and compliance with E-Verify and I-9 processes.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to show proof of eligibility to work in the United States
- Must successfully complete a criminal background check, pre-access drug and alcohol screenings
- Possess and maintain a valid full-driver's license and clean driver’s abstract
- Working knowledge of health, safety and environmental protection practices and procedures
- E-Verify participation and ability to provide I-9 information
- Ability to travel throughout the state of West Virginia as needed
