Job Summary
Laborers perform various tasks on construction sites including excavation, equipment operation, and site preparation. Key responsibilities include signaling operators, assisting journeymen, cleaning sites, managing traffic near work zones, and operating machinery such as water trucks. Candidates must have at least 1 year of construction experience, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to meet the physical demands of the job. Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience within the construction industry
- High School Diploma or GED
- Basic understanding of English to read and understand work instructions and safety information
- Ability to follow directions
- Ability to meet physical demands which include walking, bending, pushing, pulling, lifting, sitting, squatting, and occasionally lifting and carrying items weighing up to 25 pounds
Additional Requirements
- Must be available for work 5am – 6pm Monday through Saturdays
- Must be able to supply their own transportation
