Job Summary
Operate a Top Pick (Container Lifter/Reacher-Stacker) and maneuver large containers around a transfer station to load rail cars while maintaining efficient material flow. Routinely inspect equipment, follow all safety policies and OSHA standards, and communicate with drivers and management via radios and hand signals. Lift and move materials up to 50 pounds, observing hand signals and grade stakes to ensure compliance with safety specifications. Work outdoors in variable weather conditions, set up and inspect machinery prior to operation, and receive written and oral instruction regarding material movement.
Required Qualifications
- Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and legally eligible to work in the United States.
- Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds
- Minimum 2 years' experience as operating a Top Pick/Container Lifter/Reacher-Stacker.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience from the sanitation industry is strongly preferred.
