Job Summary
Laborer needed to assist in heavy construction, underground utilities, and environmental construction. Operate small power and hand tools after safety familiarization; travel out of town up to three weeks; perform site preparation, trenching, measuring, signaling, material handling, and set up traffic control; adhere to safety procedures and complete hazard analyses and safety paperwork.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to work out of town, sometimes out of state, and for lengths of time as project dictates
- A high school diploma, GED, or trade school certificate is preferred
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening
- Must be over 18 to operate power-driven saws and other equipment
- Must attend mandatory safety meetings and participate in safety discussions
- Must be physically able to perform repetitive motion and heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs)
- Must wear PPE as provided by company
- Must be able to travel between sites
