Job Summary
Laborer II to provide outside plant (OSP) installation support on various utility construction project sites. Operate heavy equipment including directional drill, mini excavator, hydro truck, and bucket truck; assist with jobsite setup and closeout; read prints and construction drawings; assist in locating utilities; actively participate in safety programs and training; maintain production standards and assist Foreman and experienced Operators; travel nationwide.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- 1+ year utility construction experience required
- Valid driver’s license (preferred)
- Class A CDL License strongly preferred
- Competent Person and OSHA 10 certifications strongly preferred (ability to obtain within 6 months of hire)
