Job Summary
Laborer with exposure to fabrication shops supporting US Navy manufacturing projects. Assist skilled tradespeople with material handling using forklifts and overhead cranes, cutting raw materials, grinding, sandblasting, drilling, and shop maintenance. Collaborate with shop supervision, tradespeople, production planning, and program managers; drive efficiency by supporting fabrication activities; operate hand and power tools (grinders, band saws, torches, plasma cutters, drills, milling machines) to prepare and stage material. Requires High School Diploma/GED, ability to obtain secret clearance, US citizenship, ability to stand for extended periods, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
