Job Summary
Adhere to company safety procedures and policies while performing construction laboring activities such as pumping blast holes dry, loading and unloading explosives, and carrying stemming stone. Maintain a clean and organized job site, submit accurate signed time cards weekly, and attend daily heads-up safety meetings, Foreman meetings, and periodic safety sessions. Work outdoors in varying weather conditions, take direction from Superintendents or Blasting Supervisors, and occasionally work unsupervised. Out-of-town and state travel is required, with overtime possible. Valid driver's license with good driving record and own transportation are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Drivers License with good driving record and own transportation (out of town/state travel required)
- Must successfully pass ATF screenings
- Must be able to perform job specific instruction provided by Superintendents, Blasting Supervisor or Drill Operators
- Individuals must be safety-minded
- Ability to work well outdoors in varying weather environments
- Ability to perform essential functions of the position
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs occasionally, 5% of time
- Ability to lift 50lbs, 50% of the time
- Stooping and bending 60 – 70% of the time
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with construction labor and heavy equipment preferred
