Job Summary
Laborer - Construction at Maine Drilling & Blasting. Responsibilities include learning safety aspects, performing construction laboring tasks, pumping blast holes with a water pump, loading explosives, carrying stemming stone to stem blast holes, maintaining a clean and organized job site, and participating in safety meetings. Must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record and own transportation, and be able to pass a pre-employment physical, drug screen, and ATF background check. Physical demands include lifting up to 100 lbs and 50 lbs on a regular basis, sustaining lengthy outdoor work in varying weather, and occasional unsupervised work.
