Job Summary
Assist in the installation of insulation, waterproofing materials, firestop systems, and expansion joints. Responsibilities include loading and unloading materials, preparing work areas, operating hand and power tools, following safety procedures, and supporting skilled trades workers. Perform demolition, assist with scaffolding setup, maintain job site cleanliness, and collaborate effectively with team members.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly
- Perform tasks that involve repetitive motion
- Work in confined spaces or at heights
- Capability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to safety and detail
Desired Qualifications
- Previous construction or labor experience preferred, but not required
- Willingness to learn and grow within the trade
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs, bend, crouch, and stand for extended periods
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and a positive attitude
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- OSHA 10 or 30 certification is a plus (can be provided)
