Job Summary
Load, lift, and move supplies, furniture, and equipment; collect rubbish and other refuse; rake and sweep; cut grass; trim hedges; water lawns and beds; load/unload trucks; perform general painting; shovel gravel and sand; clean vegetation; occasionally drive trucks; learn to use various recording/info systems used by the agency; works outdoors in varying temperatures with possible weekend shifts; physical tasks include lifting up to 50-100 lbs with assistance and standing for long periods. Seasonal, April–September, 24–40 hrs/week, Ocean City, NJ location with a New Jersey driver’s license required and ability to drive a manual transmission; ADA/EEO/AA accommodations may be provided.
Required Qualifications
- License: valid New Jersey driver’s license. Must be able to drive a manual transmission.
- Minimum Age: 18
- Ability to perform manual tasks, read/write/speak English sufficiently
- ASL or Braille may be acceptable forms of communication
