Job Summary
Operates forklift to load and unload totes from chemical fill stations; loads and unloads flatbed trucks; assists in batch making and quality checking; operates tote fill stations; performs general maintenance tasks; works outdoors and in hot/cold conditions; interacts with drivers to coordinate unloading/loading of raw materials; assists Production Manager with sample collection and supports Quality Manager with testing as needed; conducts basic maintenance and troubleshooting of processing equipment; maintains plant housekeeping and adheres to 5S and all safety rules; must pass a DOT physical including back x-ray, hearing test, and drug/alcohol screen; overtime may be required; dusty dry ingredients and hazardous materials present.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma preferred or equivalent
- 1 year production experience required
- 1 year forklift experience preferred but not required
- DOT physical including back x-ray, hearing test and drug/alcohol screen
