Laborer (2nd Shift)

Job Summary
Collect trash, recycling, and scrap; assist in loading and unloading raw materials, tools, and equipment. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, street sweepers, and other floor cleaning equipment. Perform various duties within the Tool and ECC departments, including inventory management, hose and cable repairs, and stocking shelves. Monitor empty and full bottles on the shop floor and replace as necessary. Clean and maintain work areas, tools, and equipment while following safety protocols and guidelines. Execute fire and tank watch duties. This role requires OSHA 10 certification and the ability to work the 2nd shift schedule.
Required Qualifications
- US Citizenship
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Good Communication skills
- Good Organization skills
- Forklift and pallet jack experience
- Experience using tools such as drills, grinders, sanders and saws
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Must have OSHA 10
- Must be able to work 2nd shift schedule
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to perform physical tasks and lift heavy objects 50 lbs. plus
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
- Ability to sit for long periods of time
