Job Summary
Laboratory Testing Intern for Summer 2026 at WSP USA in San Diego, CA. This 12-week internship provides hands-on exposure to laboratory testing, project research, field work, and preliminary design calculations and analysis, with mentorship from senior staff through the Developing Professionals Network. The role focuses on developing technical, social, and ethical skills, collecting and maintaining project documentation, completing task-specific training, and upholding company policies and Code of Conduct. No relocation or housing assistance is provided.
Required Qualifications
- Actively enrolled in an accredited Civil Engineering, or related Undergraduate program with an anticipated graduation date of August 2026 or later
- Must be 18 years or older
- Authorization to work in the United States at the start of the internship
- Basic proficiency with technical writing, office automation, software, spreadsheets, technology, and tools
- Demonstrated interest in Civil Engineering or related field and desire to advance skills related to WSP's work and projects
- Ability to take direction from leadership, mentors, and managers to execute projects
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for professional interaction with engineering and non-engineering audiences
- U.S. work eligibility at internship start
