Job Summary

Perform pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical test processes and evaluate results against diagnostic assessments. Run clinical and development testing, including shift work as required. Apply strict quality control practices to protect specimen integrity and ensure accurate results. Write and update operational procedures, troubleshoot workflows, and help implement process improvements and new services. Monitor laboratory KPIs and quality metrics; report quality events promptly. Requires 2+ years of experience in regulated environments with molecular techniques and nucleic acid–based assays; strong attention to detail, communication skills, and familiarity with clinical/lAb quality standards (FINAS and ISO 15189). Potential for part-time schedule across 4 days/week at 5 hours/day or 3 days/week at ~6.5 hours/day at Revvity’s Turku site (Wallac Oy). The role involves high-throughput genome sequencing and related clinical assays, with emphasis on quality monitoring, troubleshooting, and adherence to regulatory/audit readiness.

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of relevant experience in a regulated environment using molecular techniques, including high-throughput DNA sequencing
  • experience with nucleic acid–based assays
  • strong attention to detail and organization
