Job Summary
Laboratory Technologist (MLT) performing high-complexity testing including RT-qPCR, specimen accessioning, QC procedures, instrument maintenance, and timely result reporting via EMR. Ensures OSHA/CLIA/COLA/HIPAA compliance, manages reagents and consumables to minimize waste and costs, participates in proficiency testing and regulatory readiness, and supports training and professional development with overtime flexibility to meet operational demands.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology; OR Associate degree in Laboratory Science or Medical Laboratory Technology; OR Equivalent education/training including: 60 semester hours including 24 hours in science/MLT coursework; At least 3 months documented lab training in each tested specialty
