Job Summary
Laboratory Technologist/Analytical Specialist role in Kingston, ON: provide routine and non-routine analytical support for experimental projects and manufacturing needs; own and maintain analytical equipment, ensure consumables and chemicals are available, troubleshoot as needed; support customer inquiries on testing capabilities and methods; balance multiple projects to meet deadlines; collaborate with global labs on testing submissions, method alignment, and timelines; document and communicate findings clearly; flexible scheduling including potential shiftwork, holidays, and weekends as needs evolve.
Required Qualifications
- 3-year technologist diploma or B.Sc in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or related field (also acceptable with significant relevant experience)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a laboratory environment (academic and industrial experience accepted)
