Job Summary
Maintain adequate stocks of laboratory standards, chemicals, and consumables for quality control inspection, sampling, and testing. Manage the disposal of laboratory waste including samples, chemicals, and solvents. Carry out glassware cleaning and general laboratory good housekeeping activities. Perform equipment checks to ensure suitability for use and support maintenance of calibration schedules. Assist with administration activities where required. This permanent role is based in Deeside and offers private health insurance, life assurance, enhanced annual leave, and pension contributions. Previous laboratory and GMP experience is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
- Ability to work under minimal supervision
- Working knowledge of Health and Safety and COSHH
- Mathematical competency (Multiplication, Division, Percentage Calculations)
Desired Qualifications
- Educated to secondary level or vocational qualifications in a relevant discipline
- Previous laboratory and GMP experience
