Job Summary
Coordinate study operations, manage behavioral and EEG data, and conduct in-person data collection while recruiting and scheduling participants. Assist the lab director with volunteer training and contribute to data collection efforts. Work in-person on Purdue's main campus in West Lafayette, IN. This role supports research advancing understanding of attention, emotion, and aging within a collaborative team environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Neuroscience, Gerontology, Computer Science, or related field
- Commitment to supporting an inclusive laboratory environment
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal skills, and professionalism as a collegial team member
- Ability to work as part of a team and train others
- Strong organizational and time management skills with emphasis on accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to efficiently multitask and meet deadlines
- Ability to communicate with individuals from diverse cultures and backgrounds
- Ability to work in-person on Purdue's main campus in West Lafayette, IN
- A background check
- Non-Exempt (Eligible For Overtime) employment classification
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in a research lab
- Experience working with human subjects aged 18-85 years old
- Familiarity with MRI and/or EEG data
- Experience with computer programming (e.g., MATLAB, R)
