Job Summary
Lab Technician at PSC Group in a petrochemical plant in Olathe, KS. Responsibilities include testing catalyst and polymer products and raw materials, processing catalyst for manufacturing, weighing and record-keeping of batch details, conducting analytical tests on polymeric materials and catalysts, preparing samples, calibrating and maintaining laboratory instruments, performing monthly/quarterly equipment tests, ensuring documentation is detailed and traceable, preparing chemical solutions, writing/maintaining Standard Operating Procedures, adhering to health/safety/environmental rules, supporting the Quality Management System, and potential additional duties to support site needs.
Required Qualifications
- Must have at least a high school diploma
- Laboratory experience in a chemical or industrial plant working rotating shifts is a plus
- May require a valid Driver’s License
- Pass a drug screen, physical, and background check
- 18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.
