Job Summary
Technical Assistant / Biology Laboratory Technician role based in Berlin, joining Precision for Medicine Group for a one-year fixed-term contract with potential for conversion. Responsibilities include preparation and processing of clinical trial samples, immunmonitoring using epigenetic qPCR markers (bisulfite conversion and DNA purification, qPCR analyses, data evaluation/quality control), operation of pipetting robots, and general laboratory organization, equipment maintenance, and order management. Desired qualifications include vocational training in biology laboratory technology or technical assisting, experience with clinical trial samples and molecular biology methods, GCP lab workflows, German (B1) and English communication, strong computer skills (MS Office), and a commitment to ISO-compliant documentation and quality practices. The role is located in Berlin, Germany, and described as a one-year fixed-term contract with potential for permanent placement.
Required Qualifications
- Successfully completed vocational training as a biology laboratory technician or technical assistant
- Knowledge and practical experience in handling clinical trial samples, molecular biology methods and a good understanding of cell biology are highly desirable
- Ideally professional experience with practical workflows in GCP laboratories
- German language skills (at least B1 level)
- English language communication
- Good computer skills, MS Office (Excel, Word)
- Technical and social competence within the team
- High level of quality awareness and ISO-compliant working methods and documentation
