Laboratory Technician

Log and test oil-based lubricant samples using internal procedures and ASTM methods while performing SQC analysis to ensure equipment accuracy. Assist chemists in managing incoming samples by prioritizing analysis based on shift requirements and approving blend, inbound, and production samples against specifications. Maintain laboratory safety by identifying hazards, completing pre-shift meetings, and reporting incidents, while organizing chemical storage and managing inventory of supplies. Complete shift reports and documentation accurately, validate instrument functionality, and participate in Lean process improvements. Work all three shifts including weekends and holidays, lifting up to 50 lbs, within a fast-paced environment to ensure the quality of packaged fluids.
