Job Summary
Process and analyze clinical laboratory specimens using analyzers, microscopes, and centrifuges. Prepare patients for blood, urine, and stool collections via venipuncture or capillary methods. Review, verify, and report patient results while maintaining proficiency in clinical chemistry, hematology, coagulation, serology, urinalysis, and molecular testing. Perform, update, and review quality control, calibrations, and maintenance procedures. This 13+ week contract requires a two-year associate's degree in medical technology, ASCP certification, and two to three years of clinical laboratory experience with phlebotomy skills. The role supports the Crow/Northern Cheyenne Hospital in Crow Agency, MT.
Required Qualifications
- Two-year associate's degree in medical technology, Clinical Laboratory Science or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Certification as a Medical Technician by a recognized certifying body (e.g. ASCP, AMT)
- 2-3 years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
