Job Summary
Process and analyze clinical laboratory specimens using analyzers, microscopes, and centrifuges. Prepare patients for blood, urine, and stool collections via venipuncture or capillary methods. Review, verify, and report patient results while maintaining proficiency in clinical chemistry, hematology, coagulation, serology, urinalysis, and molecular testing. Perform, update, and review Quality Control, calibrations, and maintenance. Requires an associate's degree in medical technology or clinical laboratory science, ASCP/AMT certification, and two to three years of experience with phlebotomy skills. Role begins November 1st, 2026, for a 13+ week duration at 40 hours weekly.
Required Qualifications
- Two-year associate's degree in medical technology, Clinical Laboratory Science or a related field from an accredited institution
- Certification as a Medical Technician by a recognized certifying body (e.g. ASCP, AMT)
- 2-3 years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting
- Phlebotomy
