Job Summary
Perform laboratory activities within the sample processing workflow, including preparation, DNA extraction, sequencing, and downstream processing. Execute batch or plate-based activities to meet production volumes, handling biological samples and operating automated systems per SOPs. Generate data output reviews, maintain accurate LIMS entries, and ensure a compliant laboratory environment through routine instrument checks and cleaning. Complete assigned workloads within established timelines while adhering to ISO procedures and safety standards.
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's degree preferred in a relevant field such as Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Genetics, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Biology, or related life sciences
- 0-1 years' laboratory experience preferred, including familiarity with molecular biology techniques and automated systems
- Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
- Ability to operate automated liquid handling systems and robotic platforms
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to SOPs, ISO standards, and safety protocols
- Ability to maintain consistency and accuracy in a high-throughput environment
