Laboratory Technician I

Prepare material specimens for testing and perform tests as directed by customer specifications. Gather and record test data while operating under the supervision of a senior test technician or Department Manager. Construct and maintain various test fixtures and laboratory equipment, adhering to established safety rules, codes of conduct, and company policies. This role requires proficiency in basic testing concepts and computer skills, with an ability to apply algebra and geometry. The position involves moderate physical demands, including lifting under 50 lbs frequently and over 50 lbs occasionally, and standing for long periods.
