Laboratory Technician I - Blytheville, AR

Job Summary

Maintain laboratory equipment, sample preparation processes, and testing practices by coordinating preventive maintenance with internal and external teams. Develop, update, and revise procedures and controlled documentation while managing inventory of consumables to ensure uninterrupted operations. Implement best practices for sample preparation and testing, lead continuous improvement projects, and ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards. Collaborate with Operations, Quality, and Maintenance teams to resolve technical issues and support production objectives.

Required Qualifications

  • Three (3) or more years of experience in a materials testing laboratory within a manufacturing environment
  • experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS)
  • Strong knowledge of materials testing methods
  • laboratory best practices
  • laboratory KPI development
  • Experience with CNC programming and tooling applications
  • Experience managing external suppliers, service providers, and procurement processes
  • experience with purchase requisitions (PRs) and purchase orders (POs)
  • Familiarity with API, ASTM, ISO, NACE, and CSA standards
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office applications and computer systems in a networked environment
  • Strong attention to detail
