Job Summary
Air Liquide is hiring a Laboratory Technician I in Austin, TX or Taylor, TX. The role runs samples on ICP-MS, GC-MS, and particle counters, performs sample login/tracking, disposal of hazardous waste, reviews data, and reports results to customers. Responsibilities include sample preparation, labware handling, data entry into LIMS, calibration and standardization of analytical instruments, maintenance of safety practices, collaboration to review data quality, and contributing to safety and quality improvements. The position supports testing across semiconductor-related chemicals and involves routine waste disposal, preparation of high-quality standards, and ensuring accurate results delivery. Flexible to OT and night shifts; requires a HS Diploma with 5 years lab experience or an Associate/Bachelor degree with related experience as alternatives. The environment emphasizes safety, data integrity, and continuous improvement, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and regulatory compliance.
Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma and 5 years of Lab Experience OR Associate Degree in Chemistry or Similar and 3 years of Experience OR Bachelor Degree in Chemistry or Similar and 0 years of Experiences
- Able to adapt to teamwork environment
- Good computer skill
- Work safely at all times and ensure a safety culture
- Holiday and weekend coverage
- Flexible to work OT as needed during staffing shortages
- Flexible to work night shifts
