Laboratory Technician

Job Summary

Conduct quality assurance testing on products to verify compliance with quality standards and maintain laboratory equipment in safe working condition. Prepare technical reports and documentation to support field operations, while assisting with additive selection and fluid design. Perform routine laboratory audits, risk assessments, and waste disposal in accordance with regulations. Maintain communication with client support laboratories and stakeholders to ensure accurate, timely deliverables. Complete required safety training and wear appropriate personal protective equipment.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum: High school diploma or GED
  • Previous laboratory experience
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Proficiency in documenting test results and preparing technical reports
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while meeting deadlines
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and organized laboratory environment
  • Experience supporting quality assurance testing in an industrial, manufacturing, or energy-related laboratory
  • Familiarity with fluid design, additive evaluation, or technical laboratory support
  • Experience participating in continuous improvement or quality management initiatives

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in cementing laboratory operations is a plus
